Installing Your Tracker

Follow these steps to install your TrikTraks Tracker in your vehicle. The entire process takes about 10 minutes.

1. Choose Location

Find a secure location under the dashboard with access to 12V power.

2. Connect Power

Connect the red wire to 12V+ and the black wire to ground.

Power connections

Double-check polarity before powering on. Incorrect wiring can damage the device.

3. Secure Device

Mount the tracker using the included magnetic base or screws.

4. Test Signal

Wait for the LED to turn solid green, indicating GPS lock. See LED Indicators for the full reference.
